Every picture tells a story.
Most of my images have a story behind them. Sometimes a very very short story and sometimes a long tedious one. But there are always words on why the image in front of me called out.
The images you see on this site come from my imagination. They do not document what was exactly in front of my camera but they document how I was feeling at the time when I began to create a work of art.
Some images are impressionistic, some I call ultra-realistic with more color and stupendous detail.
My first goal is to create a piece that is not only beautiful but also creates a feeling or a memory in the viewer. My second goal is to create a conversation piece. A work of art that people will not only "see" but really "look" at and hopefully talk about it.
Many times in art fairs I have noticed a couple in from of a piece, pointing, touching, stepping back, moving closer.
